This position is currently located in Anchorage.
The position may be in Anchorage or Juneau, depending upon the location of the most qualified candidate.
What you will be doing: In this role, you will serve as the Administrative and Chief Financial Officer for the Section of Emergency Programs, also known as Rural and Community Health Systems (RCHS) within the Division of Public Health.
Under the direction of the Administrative Operations Manager, you will coordinate professional-level administrative and financial functions, including developing the annual budget, providing finance management and resource allocation, overseeing all procurement and personnel matters, and supervising several administrative staff.
You will be using state systems such as IRIS (accounting system), IRIS-HRM (human resources system), and daily use of other Excel-based tracking sheets.
All administrative functions within the section depend on this position for leadership, efficiency, and effectiveness.

The working environment you can expect: This position could be located in Anchorage at the Frontier Buidling, 3601 C Street in Anchorage, conveniently located in Midtown within walking distance to Cuddy Family Park.
Or this position could be located in Juneau at 350 Main St.
