Position: Dental Assistant

At Juneau Pediatric Dentistry, we're expanding our warm and dynamic team! We're in search of a Dental Assistant who is not only friendly and energetic but also genuinely passionate about pediatric dental care.
This role is perfect for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and loves working with children, helping them build a foundation for lifelong oral health.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in dental assistance, especially in pediatrics, is a bonus, but we're open to training an enthusiastic candidate who's eager for a long-term career in pediatric dentistry.
Excellent interpersonal skills to make our young patients and their families feel at ease.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and organizing dental operatories.
Assisting the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures.
Conducting radiographs and intraoral scans.
Welcoming patients, ensuring consent forms are completed, and maintaining thorough and accurate patient records.
Educating families on post-operative care.
Sterilizing dental instruments and maintaining inventory.
