What you will be doing: As Division Operations Manager, you will serve as the principal assistant to the Director of Departmental Support Services, overseeing the intricate web of budget, grants, and procurement.
Your mission is to optimize division activities, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient processes that align to support vulnerable Alaskans.
At the core of your role is the coordination of the department's budgets – operating, supplemental, and capital – a critical responsibility to uphold the mission of providing support, safety, and well-being.
The Division Operations Manager will also assist in organizational changes, constantly evaluating section positions for productivity and delivering insightful reports to department management on appropriations.
Your influence will extend to managing organizational changes, guaranteeing optimal productivity and efficiency within the Department.
Your reports to department management serve as a compass for decision-making, emphasizing collaboration within our divisions to tackle challenges head-on.
This position plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing annual budgets, overseeing the Automated Budget System, and actively engaging in statewide initiatives.
