*Vice President of Culture and Compliance Operations* Residential Youth Care (RYC) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Culture and Compliance Operations to lead crucial functions within the organization.
The Vice President will be responsible for overseeing Culture and Organizational Development, Human Resources/People, Facilities Management, Compliance and Quality Assurance, and Information Technology (IT).
This leadership opportunity is instrumental in ensuring positive workplace culture, operational excellence, and compliance with regulations to support RYC’s mission.
This position is ideal for an individual with understanding and acumen of Alaska behavioral health organizations.
This role is an opportunity to lead a lasting impact on the lives of Alaskan youth and families.
This is a newly created position to strategically set the organization up for success long-term, through adding organizational capacity that supports continued growth.
*Reports to:* Chief Executive Officer *Supervises:* HR Director, Facilities/Maintenance Manager, Quality Assurance Specialist, Accreditation Specialist, IT Specialist.
*Key Roles & Responsibilities:* _Culture/Organizational Development:_ * This position will work with the CEO and senior leadership team to enact positive culture across the organization, defined as: RYC values collaboration and mutual support, creativity and problem solving with a solution-focused mindset, and strives to bring out the best in team members and those it serves.
* Create an intentional plan that engages leaders across the organization to create and develop a dynamic culture of excellence and authentic supportive relationships; to lead a culture of continual learning in individuals, teams, and leaders.
Provide senior leadership that creates a positive culture of mutual support, goodwill, and strength-based.
* Model and set the example of influential servant leadership and integrity.
* Lead organizational activities and events that foster a positive and inclusive workplace that promotes diversity, employee engagement, leadership development, team building, includes identifying and addressing staff satisfaction, and enhances departmental and organizational culture.
_Human Resources/People & Strategy:_ * Oversee all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance evaluation.
This function includes support from several team members including a Human Resources Director and HR Generalist.
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that empower and align others with organizational goals and values.
* Lead functions of training and continual employee development in pursuit of excellent services.
_Support Best Practices through Compliance and Quality Assurance:_ * Lead compliance through the lens of meeting our mission: Support program’s ability to deliver best practice in behavioral health services within compliance standards.
Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, licensing standards, as well as accreditation standards.
* Demonstrate courage and empathy to support meeting youth population needs and implement best practices by advocating for innovation within standards, or advocating to change standards.
* Maintain organizational and program accreditation through COA.
* Establish and maintain a robust quality assurance program to continuously improve service quality and client outcomes.
* Develop and implement internal audit and evaluation processes.
_Information Technology (IT):_ • Oversee IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, data security, and technology support.
• Develop an IT strategy that enhances efficiency, data management, and accessibility while protecting sensitive information.
_Team Leadership and Development:_ * Lead and mentor a small team of dedicated professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
* Set clear goals and objectives, provide feedback, and evaluate team performance to drive results.
* Utilize data insights to make informed decisions and refine program strategies.
*Job Requirements:* * Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
* A commitment to RYC’s mission and the well-being of youth in the community.
* Proven leadership experience in a combination of compliance, culture/organizational development and human resources.
* Thorough knowledge of and experience overseeing regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector.
* Strong curiosity and collaboration: demonstrate curiosity, flexibility, and innovation.
Ability to articulate and implement positive change.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Strong understanding of youth mental health, behavioral health, or related fields (preferred).
* Knowledge of Alaskan communities and stakeholders (preferred).
Job Type: Full Time, Exempt Hours Per Week: 40 Pay Range: $110,000- $155,000 + DOE Benefits: Health insurance, HRA, FSA, Health Insurance Waiver Monthly Stipend, Life insurance, free access to RYC's Fitness Center, 403 B Retirement plan 5% annual employer contribution, paid leave, and 8 paid holidays.
